2010 is the 50th anniversary of the invention of the Laser and have since revolutionized how we live. Not only do we here at OnPoint Lasers sell laser products, we also think lasers are just pretty awesome and we have created this section of our website to answer all of your questions about lasers from how they work and how they were invented to safety, news and product information!
Born in 1960, the Laser was once considered a solution without a problem. Today, Lasers are the underpinning of many of our daily activities from scanning items at the grocery store to playing your CD to flat screen technology. Lasers are used in almost every field you can think of: measurement, medical and dental treatment and research, chemical and forensic analysis, communication, entertainment and media and more!
