Lasers are fascinating and an integral technology in most every area of our lives. 2010 marks the 50th anniversary of the Laser and its relatively brief history is impressive. OnPoint Lasers would like to thank Laser Fest (www.laserfest.org) for much of the content in this section. Laser Fest is a year long celebration of the anniversary of the Laser.
In just 50 years, the laser has gone from a "solution without a problem" to being the technology behind much of our medical research, physics and engineering developments, media and entertainment devices and more.
